Travel Coordinator at Hyperloop One

The Travel Coordinator at Hyperloop One will be responsible for the day to day operation of our Corporate Travel Program. This includes booking flights, cars and hotels for traveling team members, monitoring expenses, and monthly reporting. This position requires outstanding customer service skills, and attention to detail.


  • Liaison between our travel agency and team members 
  • Gather, report and analyze travel statistics weekly, monthly and quarterly
  • Audit travel expenses for accuracy 
  • Track team members travel to ensure we have an accurate location of all personnel and potential employees
  • Work with our Talent Operations team to ensure all interview candidates have seamless travel
  • Work closely with Operations Manager to ensure our travel processes are aligned to our business needs and make recommendations when needed
  • Procure required documents, visas, and clearances for travel
  • Manage our carpool program including state compliance programs
  • Assist with travel arrangements (flight, hotel and ground transport) including last minute changes and requests
  • Assist with on-ground entertainment reservations
  • Ensure that all T&E policies are followed
  • Independently review reservations for accuracy; proactively correct errors or oversights 
  • Manage day to day paperwork
  • Ensure quality control
  • Participate in New hire orientation for travel system overview and training (Concur)
  • Work with the Operations team to ensure our travel program is to it highest standards
  • Participate in addressing travel related issues with a solution based approach

Required Minimum Experience

  • High school diploma
  • 2-4 years of relevant industry experience
  • Knowledge of best practices in the travel space
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Thorough knowledge of MS office including excel, outlook
  • Outstanding customer service
Preferred Experience

  • Bachelors degree
  • Extensive knowledge of Concur expenses and on-line travel portal
